More About the Author

K.D. West is an Amazon best-selling author of contemporary short fiction, a teacher, and a performer living in a small suburb of a big city in the American West:

"Not a huge amount to say -- I'm an author of steamy stories who happens to be a teacher; these things don't mix well in public, so I tend to be fairly quiet about real life in my blogging. I am, however, interested in all sorts of things -- books, writing, theater, mythology, and, obviously, erotica! I'm a huge reader of genre fiction -- mostly mysteries and fantasy, but also science fiction and historical romance."

West is working on two intertwined series involving a young woman and her older lover (the Juliet Takes Flight and Erotic Tales: Letters to Allison stories), a series of stories about friends discovering that they can become much more (Friendly Ménage Tales), and a series of stories that the Brothers Grimm might have collected, if there had been traditional tales where the heroine got the princess (Sapphic Fairytales). Also on the way: By the Numbers, an erotic paranormal/urban fantasy novel involving a long-lost friend coming all but literally back from the dead, and showing a happily married couple just what they'd been missing.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review. They are the only ones I will give.

This book was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoy M/M/F ménages and the stories in this book were great ones. Not sleazy at all but totally hot!! But I don't like the cover at all. Sorry. Also at the end of the book space was taken up by giving details all over again about each story then an extract. This all takes up space unfortunately where another story could have gone. That is my only gripe.

Thoroughly enjoyed this and will definitely look for more from this author. Erotica without the sleaze. Terrific.

I was introduced to K.D West book over the Thanksgiving weekend and had been pleasantly entertained with her erotic series “The Visitor.” When I had the chance to listen to the audible of Three For Three I looked forward to it with great pleasure. I was not disappointed even though one of the shorts in this book was the first book in the Visitors series so I had already read it.
So far my favorite part of reading erotica from K.D. West is that it's not over the top sleazy just hot and, well, erotic as it should be. The characters are vividly created and are built from a solid foundation of having known at least one of the other partners first, so it creates believable threesomes. Though I haven't participated in such acts with my friends, I know some of them have and that it evolved much the same way the relationships are described in these books. I do have to agree with Bev Harro, I wasn't a fan of the cover. But, I subscribe to the notion that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover and I'm glad or I would have missed a pleasurable two hour of listening enjoyment. I wasn't all that entertained with the last short “The Trouble With Triplets,” it was okay, but seemed a little underdeveloped. All in all still a good book and I'll be reading more K.D. West book.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the stories in this trio. I found them to be exciting and entertaining.

K.D. West did a nice job creating these stories.

I look forward to reading more.

I found this set of three delightful. Very quick reads with a fast pace. Well written and so quick paced you never really thought about plots or characters which I found to be quirky females with horny men.

Right off the bat, let's be clear: K.D. West is an excellent writer. It's nice that it's erotica, but even nicer when the person behind the word processor really knows how to create believable characters and situations, and them gets them off—explosively. My favorite of the three, Over the Top, features two gentlemanly fireman and a young woman from out of town visiting for a job interview. It's good-natured Southern hospitality at its finest in a tale set in Atlanta. You know it's a going to be a fun ride right from the get-go: West's lead paragraph is a hoot. My next favorite, The Visitor, offers an ingenious set-up for a young guy who is agonizingly horny—he stupidly broke off with his girlfriend before heading out for a stay in a cabin with another couple who can't stop banging in the overhead bedroom. Let's just say they realize their rudeness and get sympathetic. It's a nice set up, and goes on from there. The third story, Truth & Games, may be the best written. But for my taste, it's more of a romance than erotica. The sex is there, but the emphasis is a love story (with a surprising ending that I won't reveal). Overall, West delivers in these three stories (which are all MMF, the only sexual combination that makes any sense, at least to me). Plus, there's a lot of bonus material, so you get a lot for your three bucks. I'll be reading more by K.D. West.

The stories in this book were ok but I don't really like third person writing, it seems to be confusing trying to figure out who the characters are.
